Mid City Home Restoration stands behind the work we do. Every project completed by our field teams is covered by a 1-year craftsmanship warranty.

What this warranty means

When Mid City Home Restoration completes a project, we guarantee the craftsmanship for 12 months from the project completion date. If something we built, installed, or finished does not hold up the way it should, we come back and make it right. No runaround, no finger-pointing.

This warranty covers the labor and workmanship performed directly by MHR field teams on items included in your written project scope. It does not extend to materials (which carry their own manufacturer warranties) or to work performed by licensed subcontractors (who carry their own warranties and licensing).

What is covered

  • All craftsmanship performed directly by MHR field teams
  • Installation quality on tile, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and fixtures
  • Paint and finish work performed by MHR
  • Framing, drywall, and structural work within the project scope
  • 12-month coverage starting from the project completion date

What is not covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by homeowner modifications after project completion
  • Material manufacturer defects (covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty)
  • Work performed by licensed subcontractors such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC professionals (covered by their own warranty and licensing)
  • Issues caused by water intrusion, settling, or other conditions outside MHR’s control

We schedule an assessment

MHR schedules an on-site assessment within 5 business days of your call. We come out, look at the issue, and determine if it falls under the warranty.

We fix it

If the issue is covered under the warranty, MHR resolves it at no additional cost to you. We schedule the repair and get it done.

What about subcontractor work?

MHR coordinates licensed NY subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. These professionals carry their own warranties and licensing. Their work is not covered under the MHR craftsmanship warranty because it is governed by their own trade licensing and insurance requirements.
